Q: When is my camp balance due and how do I pay my balance?
A: All Camp balances must be paid 14 days before camp. Please login to your Active Network account for more details or please contact Director@cspa96.com if you need any more information.
Q: What is the difference between a Residential & Commuter Camper?
A: A Residential camper will stay overnight in our first class dormitories & a Commuter camper will check out at the end of each day.
Q: If I only pay the deposit do I receive the Discounted Early Bird Price?
A: Yes as long as you register before the deadline of any of our Early Bird Discounts you will receive the discounted price. You will just need to pay the balance 14 days before camp begins.
Q: Is there a Shuttle to and from the Airport?
A: Yes we have multiple players fly in for our CSPA’s each year and we do provide a shuttle to and from the airport. The cost is $30.00 one way and $50.00 Round trip. Please email Director@cspa96.com with your flight itinerary and a contact phone number to arrange for pick up at the airport.
We will have airport shuttle services from the following airports:
University of Texas San Antonio: San Antonio International Airport
Shuttle Pick Up (Incoming Flights): Please book all incoming flights before noon on the first day of camp. Our shuttle from the airport will depart for our camp around 12:30pm.
Shuttle Drop Off (Return Flights): Please book all returning flights for after 4pm. Our shuttle service will drop players off at the airport around 3:30pm.
Q: What type of Supervision is there in the dorms and to/from the fields?
A: Each floor in the dorm will have a member of the senior staff staying in the dorms during the camp. Campers are supervised walking to and from each event during camp.
Q: Who are the coaches?
A: The College Soccer Preparatory Academy will feature some top college coaches from the Division I, II, and III level. For more information, please check our staff page.
Q: What meals are included?
A: All residential campers will receive breakfast, lunch, and dinner while commuters will receive lunch and dinner. The first meal served will be dinner on June 30, and the last meal will be lunch on July 2nd.
Q: How about gluten free or meals for campers with peanut allergies?
A: We are happy to say that both gluten free and meals for those with peanut allergies are available by request. Our chef and food services will make special meals for those with food sensitivities. Please contact us well in advance so we can make arrangements with the chef.
Q: Do Commuters get the same training as Residential Campers?
A: The training for commuters and residential campers is the same.
Q: How does roommate request work?
A: We will match roommates based on who you request in the registration form. Our rooms are doubles or potentially some triples, so if multiple people request each other we will do our best to put them in the rooms next to each other.
Q: What if I don't have a roommate request?
A: We have other single campers and you will be matched up with someone within one year of your age.
Q: Can parents observe the games?
A: We encourage parents to attend the league games and the final day for the league championships. There is no greater part of camps than the league matches, and having a large crowd makes the experience even more incredible. However, after Check-In, if a parent needs to enter the dorm, please inform the camp staff so we do not have adults wandering around the dormitories.
Q: Is there Goalkeeper training available?
A: Goalkeeping instruction will be provided. We will incorporate the GK training while the field players are doing their skill training. Goalkeepers will then join their teams for match play.
Q: What is the Refund Policy?
A: A full refund minus your deposit is available if you cancel at least two weeks before the start of camp. Any cancellations within two weeks of the start of camp are not eligible for refunds.
